New Creations

I have designed a few more jewelry pieces that I wanted to share.
Since Fall is here, I wanted to share some jewelry that would be great to wear for Autumn.
I love the colors of Fall - it's my favorite time of year. Here in Colorado the Aspens and trees are beautiful, and the weather is getting cooler. It won't be long and Winter will be here.

Loss of a friend

I have been taking care of my friend Dolores this summer, and she passed away on October 4th. I miss her so much.

During her illness I got behind on my jewelry and photography. I am starting to create jewelry again. Dolores loved jewelry and especially loved the "Earth Blessings" necklace I had made for her. She wore it constantly, and the family gave it back to me. What a wonderful remembrance for me.

My "Earth Blessings" necklaces use many, many different semi precious stones; thereby containing a lot of energy. If you are interested in having me create a unique "Earth Blessings" piece of jewelry for you, please let me know.

Combing love of photography and jewelry

I decided to combine my love of photography with my love of designing jewelry and have been working on some necklaces. Here are a couple that I have gotten completed so far. They are reversible, with a different photograph on each side..... 2 necklaces in one :)

The larger one with the hematite and pearl beads is a photograph of a cactus flower that I photographed in Arizona. Each side has a different artistic effect.

The second necklace has the same cactus flower on one side and a photograph of a Colorado mountain scene on the other.

Husband's Graduation

On a personal note - My husband Wayne went back to school for Truck Driving, and passed his test for his CDL yesterday. He is looking forward to Driving Over the Road and seeing more of the United States. He will be doing Orientation and then going on for 6 weeks or more of training with a Truck Driving Company. I will be missing him lots!

Welcome to my Blog

I want to welcome you to my new blog for Earth Blessings Jewelry.

I just love to create jewelry. I fall in love with my pieces and sometimes have a very hard time parting with my new creations.

I use a lot of Semi Precious Stones in my jewelry. This necklace is one I did with all metal beads, including copper, pyrite, pewter, and hematite. I also loved the Spirals and did a little researching on the internet and discovered that Spiral symbols have been around for thousands of years and have meanings of Spiritual Journey, Cosmic Force, Eternal Life, Expanding Force and New Beginnings.
